What is a UL Class T Fuse? A Class T fuse is a fast acting current limiting fuse that is rated to interrupt a minimum of 200,000 amps. The Type T Fuse is offered in 300 volt AC and 600 volt AC versions. Type T Fuse ampere ratings range from1 to 800 amps. The T Fuse has a small footprint, roughly 1/3 the size of a comparable Class R fuse. Class T fuses are UL Listed under UL 248-15, Class T and CSA Certified.
Bussmann, Littelfuse and Mersen offer the T fuse. The Bussmann brand name used for Class T fuses is T-Tron®. Littelfuse markets its Class T fuses under the POWR-T® brand name and Mersen uses the Amp-Trap® brand name.
