Semiconductor Fuse - 1000 Volts Semiconductor Fuse - 1000 Volts
Data Sheets »
The 1,000 volt semiconductor fuse is a current limiting, very fast-acting fuse rated at 1,000 volts AC and up to 800 volts DC. Ampere ratings range from 15 to 2,000 amps. The interrupting rating is up to 100,000 amps AC and DC. Optional blown fuse indication features are available. These fuses are UL Recognized.
Semiconductor fuses offer a low melting I²t and a low peak let-through current. They are designed to protect diodes, thyristors, triacs, transistors and other solid-state power semiconductor devices.
Mersen, Littelfuse and Bussmann offer a 1,000 volt semiconductor fuse. Mersen uses the Amp-Trap® Form 101 brand name. Littelfuse uses the POWR-GARD™ trade name.
