A Class T fuse is a fast acting, current limiting fuse that is rated to interrupt a minimum of 200,000 amps. Class T fuses are offered in 300 volt AC and 600 volt AC versions. Ampere ratings range from1 to 800 amps. They have a small footprint, roughly 1/3 the size of a comparable Class R fuse. Class T fuses are UL Listed under UL 248-15, Class T and CSA Certified.
Bussmann, Littelfuse and Mersen offer Class T fuses. The Bussmann brand name used for Class T fuses is T-Tron®. Littelfuse markets its Class T fuses under the POWR-T® brand name and Mersen uses the Amp-Trap® brand name.
