What is a class CC fuse? A UL Class CC fuse is 600 volt AC current limiting rejection type fuse. The type CC fuse is offered in fast acting time delay and dual element time delay versions. Class CC fuses have ampere ratings from 1/10 to 30 amps and an interrupting rating of 200,000 amps. The Littelfuse CD dual element time delay fuse is available in amperages from 35 to 60 amps. The Class CC fuse is the smallest 600 volt, 200,000 A.I.R. fuse approved for branch circuit protection. The Class CC fuse is UL Listed under UL248-4, Class CC and CSA Certified.

Bussmann, Littelfuse and Mersen offer various version of the type CC fuse. The Bussmann uses the Low-Peak®, Limitron® and CC-Tron® brand names for its Class CC fuses. Littelfuse markets its Class CC fuses under the POWR-Pro® and Slo-Blo® brand names. The Mersen Class CC fuse uses the Amp-Trap 2000® or Amp-Trap® brand names.
