Semiconductor Fuse - 600 Volts Semiconductor Fuse - 600 Volts
Data Sheets »
The 600 volt semiconductor fuse is a current limiting, very fast-acting fuse rated at 600 volts AC and DC. A midget size (10x38mm) version with current ratings ranging from 5 to 40 amps is available. This version has a maximum interrupting ratings of 200,000 amps AC and 100,000 amps DC. Other versions are rated at 600 volts AC only with maximum interrupting ratings of 200,000 amps AC. Current ratings on these versions range from 1 to 2,000 amps. An optional blown fuse indication feature is available on the larger versions. These fuses are UL Recognized.
Semiconductor fuses offer a low melting I²t and a low peak let-through current. They are designed to protect diodes, thyristors, triacs, transistors and other solid-state power semiconductor devices.
Mersen, Littelfuse and Bussmann offer 600 volt semiconductor fuses. Mersen uses the Amp-Trap® Form 101 brand name. Littelfuse uses the POWR-GARD™ trade name.
